- Copper colours are delicate finish than much more hard wearing chrome finish and more easily scratched. It should be looked after with care. The finish is produced using a special lacquer coating that may scratch if mistreated, take particular care not to apply excessive force when drying with a cloth. Clean gently with warm water and a nonabrasive liquid soap and dry with a soft dry e-cloth or similar. Copper finish can become discoloured from limescale attacking the surface or perfumes contained in soaps and lotions so to maintain its appearance, care is essential in keeping its appearance.
- Under no circumstances should harsh cleaning agents containing acidic, caustic or abrasive components such as bleach, alcohol or vinegar based substances be used as this will potentially remove the coating. Do not use abrasive cloths, scouring pads, scrub sponges, steel wool etc. as they may damage the surface. If for any reason such chemicals come in touch, rinse with warm water thoroughly.
